I used to create tags a long time ago, but haven't done it in forever. It's amazing how much easier it is to do the tags after learning so much about scrapping. What I used to think was hard is now just second nature. Anyhoo...here's the two I've created lately. I've added in links to the tuts with the credits if you would like to do them. The first pic is their tag and the second one is what I made.
I'm not really doing so well on time today, but I thought I would pop in and give you the papers to match the elements for A is for addiction. I hope you enjoy them.
There is a story behind my latest kit design. For Christmas, my brother, his wife and my mom decided to get Ben and I something together instead of our traditional separate gifts. My brother and his wife went to some friends house and played Guitar Hero (went and bought it the next day) and thought Ben and I would really like the game. OMG! We're they right! We are addicted to guitar hero/rock band. Hense the name of my new kit-A is for addiction. I don't have my layout created with the kit yet, since I absolutely have to include pictures of my brother and sister-in-law in the layout and our schedules just hasn't allowed us to get together for another round of guitar hero/picture taking opportunities. LOL! Anyway, here are the elements to my new kit-A is for addiction. Hope you like it. I will post the papers later this week.
It's been a while since I posted, (I'm not real good on the frequency of post yet) so I decided it was time to do something on the blog. Anyhoo...not sure if anyone will be able to use them, but here are some glitter tiles that I made using PSP and Artrage 2. I'm working on a kit for guitar hero. Hubby and I are totally hooked (Thanks mom, Ruff and Heather!) I'm having trouble with it because I'm just learning the design thing and I don't really know what elements to put with it. Anyway, I'll be giving that away over the next couple of days.

So, the next part is truly sad, LOL! My family is some Star Wars liking people! My hubby loves it so he wants to watch it all of the time. After so many times though...I'm like "Star Wars again" and then you've got my brother. Let's just say that he reeeeeeeeeaaalllllly likes Star Wars! Anyway, my point being, we watch a lot of Star Wars. While I'm playing with my scrapbook stuff-my hubby will get bored and go to places like StarWars.com and just look around. They have some funny videos on there, so I wanted to share some of the funny ones with you over the next few days! Don't you just love you tube! You can just pop over there and find most anything you want to see! I'll show you what I thought was the funniest one first. I laughed so hard that I almost peed in my pants!
Is that not the funniest thing! Of course, we do have a very cynical sense of humor? Anyhoo...what do you guys think?
You ever do something and immediately after you do it, your first thought is "Wow, that was so "special"? Well, I had one of those moments today. As I said before, I'm really new to blogging and I got it set up (background and such) following how to's on the internet until I got it to work.
There was this added "gadget" to the side and it bugged me so I checked it out. It had something in it that said background, but I thought surely that is not actually how my background was put in (as an external gadget) so I deleted it. Guess What?! It was my background. It was one of those situations where as soon as I done it, I realized how goofy it was but it was just a second too late. LOL! Luckily, I did think to copy it just in case. (I've learned that the hard way too!) After, looking through a lot of different how to's I finally found a way to put it back in without it being an external gadget. Wouldn't you know it, then all my text was huge and black. I kept going in to format it, but it wouldn't actually change the color. I finally changed it in each post and while I was there I changed the size to small. Then I tried to change the text size of my side column and wouldn't you know it. It changed the size of ALL of the text on the page. Back to each post to change the size back to the original so that I could change all of the text on the page at one time! Whew!!!! After that, I felt like I had put in a day's work! LOL! Oh well, may as well laugh about it, not to mention let you guys laugh about it too. I guess we all have days we do goofy stuff! Anyhoo...Here is the foam stamp flowers I promised you yesterday. There is also a gray-scale one so you can manually change the color to whatever color you need. Personal Use. I have never been one of those tub people. You know the ones...can sit in the tub forever just lounging and "relaxing". After about 10 minutes (at the most) I'm like, ok, I'm bored and give it up and get out. I have never understood what people can "do" in the tub for that long. ROFL! I mean, what is so interesting about a tub anyway? Hubby on the other hand, can actually sit in a tub until the water gets cold and then begrudgingly get out if he doesn't add more hot water to it. Since he and I have been married (10 years) he really hasn't had a good soaking tub. Just normal tubs apparently aren't that comfy. Well, we are remodeling and decided to put a jetted tub in our "master" bath.
Eventually our downstairs bath will be our master bath, but for now it's just our downstairs bath. By the way, remodeling is soooo not our thing but we were goofy and thought "Oh, it will be so fun to make it 'ours'". What a load of crap!
Anyhoo...back on subject. We finally got a good remodeling reward. We finally got our tub workable. We filled that baby up and hubby let me lay in it first. Heck, my feet 'float' to the top of this pool of a tub and the jets feel wonderful on my back. I stayed in that thing for probably an hour my first time. I think I may be addicted. LMAO! I have a really bad problem with having my muscles super tensed. I don't know why, but I've always been that way. This tub is a wonderful therapy for that.
Anyway, my freebie today was created because I saw some acrylic elements in a store and thought I could create them myself. My tactic worked pretty good (just using drop shadows) but then I decided to look for a tut. I found one at Scraps n' Bits. I thought they turned out fair so I thought I'd let you guys have the results. Personal Use. Just click the pic for the download. I've got some foam flower stamps for you tomorrow.
I haven't been too good at blogging, LOL! I created my first kit ever doing a color challenge over at DigiScrapObsession. I absolutely loved the colors. I tend to not like the tradional colors for Valentines Day, so these were perfect. There are lots of other downloadable kits so sign up and go rack up! ROFLMAO! I learned a lot on this kit and can't wait to get started on another one! Hopefully someone can use it. Any constructive criticism is appreciated. Here's the preview.
I’m a SAHW and have been married to my Soul-Mate for 10 years. I am totally addicted to digi-scrapping and want to learn to design as well. I’m new to the whole blogging thing but as I learn to design, I’ll post my efforts as freebies. (And hopefully eventually complete kits) LOL!
