We have a tub! and some acrylic elements

I have never been one of those tub people. You know the ones...can sit in the tub forever just lounging and "relaxing". After about 10 minutes (at the most) I'm like, ok, I'm bored and give it up and get out. I have never understood what people can "do" in the tub for that long. ROFL! I mean, what is so interesting about a tub anyway? Hubby on the other hand, can actually sit in a tub until the water gets cold and then begrudgingly get out if he doesn't add more hot water to it. Since he and I have been married (10 years) he really hasn't had a good soaking tub. Just normal tubs apparently aren't that comfy. Well, we are remodeling and decided to put a jetted tub in our "master" bath.

Eventually our downstairs bath will be our master bath, but for now it's just our downstairs bath. By the way, remodeling is soooo not our thing but we were goofy and thought "Oh, it will be so fun to make it 'ours'". What a load of crap!

Anyhoo...back on subject. We finally got a good remodeling reward. We finally got our tub workable. We filled that baby up and hubby let me lay in it first. Heck, my feet 'float' to the top of this pool of a tub and the jets feel wonderful on my back. I stayed in that thing for probably an hour my first time. I think I may be addicted. LMAO! I have a really bad problem with having my muscles super tensed. I don't know why, but I've always been that way. This tub is a wonderful therapy for that.

Anyway, my freebie today was created because I saw some acrylic elements in a store and thought I could create them myself. My tactic worked pretty good (just using drop shadows) but then I decided to look for a tut. I found one at
Scraps n' Bits. I thought they turned out fair so I thought I'd let you guys have the results. Personal Use. Just click the pic for the download. I've got some foam flower stamps for you tomorrow.

  2. Thank you for the plug for my tut site Angie and the acrylics you made look just great. That big bubbly tub of yours looks just divine - most jealous. By the way, a bit of good music and some wine will go down very well in the tub when you get the jets going. Certainly help to relax your back.
